125/200 Exhaust the SAME??

Hello all. I have an x9 200 evo 2003. It failed its itv/mot on emissions 🤷‍♂️. I can retest it. Iv stuck in sum emission reducer in with the petrol. Iv been offered an 125 exhaust for 20e. Looks better than the one I have on.  Will this help. Will a 125 exhaust fit a 200? Leader engine. Thanks in advance. Paul

I am not certain, but a 200 is only an overbored 125 so in theory the crankcase and everything the silencer bolts to should be the same. I think the 250Evo is different but even that might be the same but again with a bigger cylinder and piston and maybe a longer throw crank.
Can you not just weaken off the mixtures on the carb to get it passed the MOT or take out the air filter element? Not sure if the exhaust has a big effect.

Have a look on a parts supplier like Easyparts and see if the exhaust is the same part number on the 125 and 200cc models.
