That's an owners poll John not MRA sales figures. I doubt any of those would feature in the sales figures, simply because of lack of availability even if there was demand.

That would explain it then Dave, as the Nexus is as rear as rocking horse poo.

Owners must like them enough to fill in a survey though. The X9 is notably absent.

Not much support for the 650 Burgman, size isn't everything.

I do love my Nexus and i've just spent a small fortune on it as things have started to wear on it and only 22,000 miles on the clock.
If they were more reliable i would buy another Piaggio/Gilera bike, but i think i'll buy a Honda next.

I'm not at all surprised that the X8 400 is third, all the owner's I know are very, very satisfied with them. It's a great scoot and underrated (though perhaps not anymore!).

Still very happy with mine after 1 year and 6000 miles

Very dodgy results given the small number of X8 (only produced for about three years) and the small number of X8s that are the 400 model (almost none).

Also it has to be noted it was MCN, hardy a widely read scooterists publication. More Crap than News isn't it's common acronym?
Clearly well below X9 owners standard or the X9 would have been Number 1!

I had a Nexus as a loan bike after my crash last year. It went back to the loan company after one ride. Admittedly that was mostly due to the fact that it stalled 3 times in the space of a 3 mile journey to work, but it was so horrible to ride that I certainly didn't miss it.
