Hello.

My X9s have had a hard live over the last 4 years as a courier, Working for DHL / City sprint / Uber / Deliveroo / Car parts company deliveries and dew others over 4 years, i have always worked as a sub contractor self employed doing 5 days a week 11 hrs a day.

The Yellow X9 been the Tank doing all the work averaging about 100 miles a day.

Today i needed to take the engine out the Yellow X9 to as the Cam chain guide has shattered, upon trying to get the swingarm engine bolt out the engine mount hole shattered/

I decided to cut my losses and not buy another engine for the Yellow Tank as she served me well over the last 4 years so going to strip for parts and put on ebay or sell as whole.

My second bike The silver X9 250 i used to supply parts to my yellow one so i dont need to buy any or wait for parts to arrive in post, is in working order i am not going to take engine out of that just to fix my yellow one or use it as its out of MOT and is in good condition with low mileage, so decided to sell both, and stop using 18 yr old scooters for my job and buy a modern uptodate injection scooter.

So there both for sale.

Ideas on new scooters is good and appricted, lower the CC the cheaper my business / courier or Hire & reward insurance is, 125 / 250 are cheap, over 500cc they charge alot.

Thanks Solo

Hi Solo
Wouldn't you just like to have one last spell on an 2006 reg 125 X9 Evo Imperial Blue, 2 owners from new less than 15000 from new, VGC with top the proper top box.
As you may have see on another posting at virtually 77 years old and licence for 60 years I think it's time to hang up my helmet. I am getting to feel very vulnerable in the 'blind driver' traffic.
If you think you may be interested I am allen.morgan(at)blueyonder.co.uk (all lower case & swap the (at) for @

Hello Allen.

i have sent you an Email, i did have a Piaggio X9 125 Evolution in blue 2005 / 2006 plate i sold a while ago, hope its not the same bike i am buying back as iv owned a lot of X9s.

Normally a 125cc X9 would lack power to pull my fiberglass box full of parcels  but willing to exclud motorways for sake of a 125 ecomermoy.

Best bike you ever owned was the 125 Evo you came to Keswick on back in 2008

You did have an odd riding position though  ::
