Got to playing with some smoke perspex (plexiglass)...

The tinted screen is about 35mm higher than the original screen but other dimensions are the same. Thickness is 5mm.
While on the subject I decided to try a wind deflector lip too....


It's attached with 1/4" gutter bolts cut down so they don't protrude too much. Rubber grommets on each side

The wind deflector is made from 7mm clear perspex. The lip and vertical curves were made using a heatgun. If anyone wants a how-to, let me know and I'll make another with step-by-step pix and details.

I would like to see your step-by-step guide when you get the chance!

I've always though that the stock screen should have had one more set of holes in it, but then, what to fill them with...
