:x9blue: I have a 250 evo x9 2005 i want to modify the wiring so that both main lights come on with main beam is it the  same as the x9 500 mod which is posted on the site already also Changed the pads for EBC but don't feel confident on the feel of the brakes have been checked at the dealer say OK any suggestion ??? all discs good, no air in system, only done 2500mls from new apart from an anchor any help greatfully received

Yes, the mod is exactly the same.  The wiring colours might be different, but that's all.

Has the brake fluid been changed?  It should have been on a bike that old.

It's the same as Jim's mod for the 500 NOT my conversion to using the dual H4 250SL headlights. That's another thing altogether.

I fitted the EBC pads to the front, just same as Piaggio originals, no better but no worse, just same. Havent tried them in the wet...dont do rain if I can help it.

Piaggio replacements seem to be EBC pads anyway at the moment!  For the Fuoco and the X9's at least.
