Hi everyone, just want you all to know that my new Evo500 is running so sweet, the weather is starting to get warmer, finally got 500km's on the clock now. I love the bike so much, that I've just bought a 500SL with 29000km's on the clock, its very tidy, just needs a little TLC  Putting in a new Thermostat ,Indicator Switch and Drive Belt this weekend then good to go  I bought the spares from Piaggiospares uk, they are awesome got the spares here in 4 days Brilliant  No one carries spares here, not many X9's here and now I have two.  The wife loves being on the back two.
Keep well and enjoy your toys

Now you have two perhaps your wife could ride too instead of being on the back! Congrats on X9 #2!

We used to have a member from NZ that had a yellow x9500 and, to my shame, I can't remember her name.  She lives in Auckland and I met her when we were in NZ 5 years ago.  Absolutely love your country, by the way.

hi all, thanks for the replies. I haven't been on the net for a few days, been so busy, still manage to do a few things on the yellow X9, pull off the exhaust, cleaned it up and painted it, had the seat recovered and replaced the indicator, that was a mission  Will replace the Drive Belt and Thermostat next weekend.
The wife doesn't drive maybe one day. I live in Christchurch, this X9 was from Auckland, has only had one owner. There is another yellow X9 from Auckland for sale at Trademe.co.nz     Makiko thats my wife just given me my tea,so have to go

Hi everyone, its been awhile about six weeks, thats how long the SL 500 been in the workshop, finally got it but last Saturday  When we fitted th Thermostat, it wouldn't bleed, then saw that the headgasket had blown, so that took time to get. Also had new rings fitted, all the fluids have been done, The Fuel injection sorted and a new seal on the exhaust. The good news is It runs as smooth as the new one, money well spent, the guys did a good job on it  Safe Riding to all
