Well fitted the electric center stand and fully works, had to use Dave's bypass idea, Video below. Now the second mod is to put the button on the left side (swap for the hazards) so you can stand on the left side of the bike and with your left hand on the left handlebar and right hand on the grab rail, use the electrics just like you would if there was a mechanical foot lever to get it onto the stand.
With the button on the right you have to be sat on the bike or stood on the 'wrong' side as in your video. That does make more sense, and i do wounder why Piaggio put the stand button next to the starter button.
