Title: X9 500 ( was the first ) ????? Post by: X9-125-Evo on October 09, 2009, 22:22:58 Hello
While looking at some bikes i came across a nice looking BMW bike, and it says : http://www.bmw-motorrad.com/com/en/index.html?content=http://www.bmw-motorrad.com/com/en/technology_new/item_electrohydraulic_centre_stand.html¬rack=1 (http://www.bmw-motorrad.com/com/en/index.html?content=http://www.bmw-motorrad.com/com/en/technology_new/item_electrohydraulic_centre_stand.html¬rack=1) Quote our engineers have developed the world's first electrohydraulic centre stand: it enables the K 1200 LT to be placed on its centre stand effortlessly at the press of a button Well thats wrong isn't it . The Piaggio X9 500 was the first, as Piaggio came up with that. Or am i wrong ? Title: Re: X9 500 ( was the first ) ????? Post by: JJ on October 10, 2009, 09:53:47 Correct.
Although the BMW K 1200 LT has been in production since 1999, they only introduced the electric centre stand onto it in 2004. The X9 beat them to it. Title: Re: X9 500 ( was the first ) ????? Post by: X9-125-Evo on October 10, 2009, 14:20:47 the X9 was there first they shouldn't discredit the X9 like that.
