Title: indicator buzzer Post by: daddy12340 on September 29, 2009, 11:20:23 I decided to modify my indicators with buzzers .Went to maplins got the bits but they wont work.If i wire them across the lamp,the lamp works but no buzzer.If i wire the buzzer in series with the lamp,the buzzer will work but the lamp won't.Help needed please.Thanks

You can add them either to the mirror bases on an Evo, to the back of the fairing mounted SL front indicators or even the rear lights where the connectors sit above the battery for easy access. It should also be possible to fit them to the wiring plugs behind the digidash if you study the pin diagram in the manual. In fact if you make a Y splitter using 2 diodes, one buzzer could be used for both indicators. Probably the neatest solution of the lot. Title: Re: indicator buzzer Post by: daddy12340 on September 29, 2009, 16:29:15 Job done.I tried reversing polarity of the wires as suggested by bigears and it works fine.Strange though,the red is going to the black earth and the black is going to white live.Oh well it works.Thanks to all who posted advice.
