Title: Code Card Post by: Lengthofwire on August 16, 2009, 12:46:39 Having just bought a SH 250 Evo X9, I have now learned that I should have a "Code Card", although I do have the "Red Key". What are the long term implications of this, and is there a way round any problems?

The code card simply gives the mechanical reference cut of the keys so a locksmith can cut a replacement without an old key as reference. It has no immobiliser relevance which is the main issue. The master key is the all important item.

If you already have a good working key to copy from it isn't needed.
It has no relevance to the immobiliser. |
