X9 front wheel bearing replacement |
|
|
|
Take off the front wheel.
On one side you have a 2 inch spacer tube connected to a domed flat washer.
Tap this gently from side to side.
This brings out the washer and spacer leaving a single bearing exposed.
On the other side are two separate bearings.
In-between you will notice a spacer tube.
With a drift push this into the tube from the double bearing end at an angle, moving the tube slightly so you can get a good purchase on the side of the single bearing.
Whack!!! whack!! and it comes out.
This leaves the spacer-tube to drop out.
Drift the two bearings out from the other end.
Buy your bearings from www. simply bearings:
One 15x42x13 and two 15x35x11 about £12.00 from www.simpply-bearings.co.uk
Drift in the new bearings
