Mine's still going strong.

Gina shares the current stable with Nelly (Tornado 900). Had a Vespa 150 Super when I was 18 and my dad courted on a Maicoletta. 2 wheels are in my blood as I'm also a Time Trialist and general headcase. Gold E46 ragtop and Fiat Coupe 16VT are my current/most recent brum-brums. 61 and won't grow up. Acquired the 2003 250SL on 6th June 2021 and so far have lifted the screen to height position 3 and replaced the OEM seized shockers with YSS jobbies with 2 chunky washers each side of the replacement units+original spacer on preload 2/5. Replaced the worn Avon Viper Stryke boots with Pirelli Angel Scooter. 25K miles used but not abused workhouse from Cov with yearly service for sub-a-grand so happy days. A few scuffs but nowt of consequence. 20mm thick Neoprene sponge bonded to glitzy, reflective Jintan top box with pillion back rest solid bumper lump. Just changed my n/s rear light bulb without removing the rack and top box. No mods to the rear panel hooks performed either and re-installed the 2 x 10mm bolts for rear light integrity so not to rely on the 2 x latch panel/cover screws.

UPDATE: Gina still going strong. After several weeks of no use, pull the LH brake lever in firmly and she prods into life first press of the button.

I have a new throttle body, but didn't try that as when I swapped engines it didn't cure the fault so I was looking at all external items.
I still have the full set of original Evo graphite grey body panels if anyone is interested - to collect.
Also a complete engine, Evo front yoke and struts everything will be going on Ebay soon.

Semi interested at the minute...

I'm supposed to be fixing a people carrier and getting a ticket on it next month. IF that goes to plan, it's only the other end of the county to drop in. We'll see how it pans out.

Not sure unless they share with X9 500. The XEvo was a bit of a 'parts bin' design, it seemed to use bits from all previous models plus a few Chinese sourced parts, as if they were testing the water for buying in parts from the far east rather than all in house. Later models used a lot of Chinese parts.

The 400 was a good bike.
I personally have a Xevo 250 with nearly 85tkm on it and a Xevo 400 with 55 tkm - both still in great working order. Between the two I prefer the 250 - better fuel consumption , much lighter and more punchy.
