Good evening all, I hope everyone is well and enjoying the return to some form of normality.

My SL needs a replacement exhaust, I have been looking for them on eBay but can only find Evo ones.
Does anyone know if an Evo is a straight swap or are there any budget ones that will fit.

The bike is not worth a lot so a brand new one is out of the question as I don’t use it often. 3.5 k miles in 9 years.

I think I made a mistake at the first lockdown when due to boredom and not able to get out on any of my bikes I did the X9 up a bit, new piaggio seat cover, new piaggio rear suspension, rebuilt the front forks and fitted new tyres.

Looking back I should have just broke it then. I suppose it kept me entertained for a few evenings.

If I can’t get a sensibly priced Exhaust I will probably break it when the next mot is due.

Take care all.

Kind regards

You need the front pipe and the swing arm as well, either the strap type or the three bolt type to match the silencer. Often seen on Ebay as are the Evo silencers.

Thank you Dave, I think I will end up breaking it as the silencer and swing arm are more than I want to spend on it. We’ll have to see, might have a change of heart.
