Take the old one to a Honda dealer & get them to compare it to the various tappet covers they will have in stock.   At a guess I'd say it was originally fitted to a   C50

Err, second thought, did you actuall try fitting the plug ? just because the spanner hexagon isn't the same size doesn't mean the thread size is different

Originally I went to take it off with my spanner and the thread snapped in half

I may of over tighten it at last oil change.

Guna measure this one up

Ignore that bud, bits are used from various models in various other models. although they may change over different years.
Is the cylinder on yours near vertical or near horizontal ?

It would be a pain to make Lyn, stub thread O ring groove in the flange then hold & machine a hex' without damageing the thread, far easier to match it to an existing one from the Honda range bud

Thanks to Bob, I was told how to take correct measurements and got the correct one measured up and sent out, perfect fit, I'm back on road.

The 250SL must have oil change every 2000 miles this is the 4th oil change where I'm doing it at 4000 miles Intervals.

So oil on mesh and was still looking good.
