Looks interesting but I wouldn't like to ride in the rain, you'd get soaked and there may be a couple of places water protection is marginal on the bike too. Would make a good track bike though!
I like the rear suspension mod, would be a big improvement over standard on a normal X9, sort of Nexus-like.

Thought about doing same for summer with the spare 250SL i have, with all the body work off it be alot lighter alot more nippyer for a summer blast down the lanes.
