Does anyone know what other Piaggio shares the same levers as the X10?

Most bike manufactures nowadays use the same kit across many models to save cost etc.  From my investigations thus far the X8 - 9, Beverly, Carnaby and early MP3 (non ABS/ASR) all share the L46/R47 type up to 09, with only the 14 - on MP3 ABS/ASR using L656/R56. 

I can't find a listing for 10 - 13 or anything for X10, probably as it just wasn't a big seller.

Lets come at this from a different angle who's got an  MP3, Beverly, Carnaby X8-9 and is within 50 mile radius of Hertford and prepared to meet and see if levers are interchangeable?

Not me but I do know Piaggio use 2 different brake levers and have used both types on the same bikes in times past.
One type of lever seems to be associated with Brembo brakes, the other with the Heng Tong brand used on newer bikes.
One way of finding out which models use which items is to search the website from Fowlers or Piaggio Spares (Suttons) and find a lever from a bike you want, look up the part number and enter this in the search box. You then get a list of all bikes this part fits. No guarantees but you might get some info.

Think I've cracked it the Beverly 350 4T 4V le E3 Sport 2012 - 2014 non Brembo shares the same part No 668417 as the X10.

I'm still no further with this I can't find anywhere that supplies adjustable levers for the Beverly 350 either!

If it's just the stretch that's a bit large for small hands, then bend the original levers in slightly. They seem robust and unbendable but when you drop the bike...they bend! I've bent and straightened the Integra ones several times. A bit of heat might help then re-spray them.

I can vouch that the X10 levers can bend if you drop the bike. 



You do know that the pivot screws are eccentric so can get some adjustment that way? Not a huge amount I grant you, but I did wind them both in so to be closest to the bars.

Could you not get a pair of pivot screws with more offset made up somewhere or are the existing at the limit?
There used to be a website once from a chap in Japan who made some adjustable levers form a Ducatti fit his X9 250SL but not sure if it's still on line. He filled the hole in the lever with a steel plug then re-drilled it in a different position so the lever matched the handlebar/cylinder fitting. The adjuster was separate to the pivot bolt.

There is a possible danger of getting them too close, then after pads are changed for example and need to bed in, there’s too much slack and it pulls back to the bar which is an MOT fail. Guess how I know! That was a dogleg lever, all great until needed new pads then had to put original back.

I'm still plugging away with this I've found out the Aprilia SR and Piaggio NGR have the same levers.  But as with most things Italian they have soooooo many variants it's almost an impossible tasks to find which set will fit.  Trying to use the SIP Scooter Shop  https://www.sip-scootershop.com/main/base/Results.aspx? is a feat in it's self!

I'm also looking in to up grading the mater cylinder and caliper to Brembo this will give me a better system and easy choice of lever.

Interesting and clever.  I'll try the SR - NGR route first, or I may just bend the levers.

It really shouldn't be this difficult but as with most things scooter it always is!
