My x9 evos clock pointers were starting to get a bit out of line so I bit the bullet, dismantled the front of the bike and extracted the clock housing for fettling on the kitchen table.
Two of the needles seemed to be a very loose fit on the motor spindles and on closer inspection the clear plastic where they push on had cracked and the bits were hanging on by a thread.
What followed was a stressful half hour with a pin, a pair of tweezers and a tube of superglue to try and salvage the clocks and get them working again!
Thankfully after a lot of fiddling and glueing, everything went back together, the pointers are now lined up and the clocks are as good as new.

Not unusual with the ageing of plastic that is marginal in quality when new!
