Well, that is a good job done. Engine went back in today and she started up straight away once the fuel had gone through. Not gone for a test drive yet though, need to put the bodywork back together.
The only problem I had was with the cooling, some of the pipework needed re-arranging, pump cover from the X9 was needed and blocked off a small pipe on the cylinder head. All seems good at the moment.
Thanks for all the tips from everyone. I have now got a 2011 Xevo instead of my 2001 X9 for about £150 altogether.
