I'm currently running a Peugeot Geopolis 250, which I understand has a Piaggi0 250 engine.
When I start it from cold it runs fine with the yellow warning light still on, then when the light goes out the engine stalls.
It restarts again straight away, with a touch of throttle, but will not tick over. I have also noted that the tick over seems
lower, when its hot, than it used to do.It also has a tendancy to backfire slightly on overrun.
A new development occurred yesterday, whilst I was running the bike on its stand, with a small throttle opening, the yellow
light came on and the engine started to run rough. The light went out and the bike ran fine again.
Anyone had anything similar?

250 fuel injected?...dud fuel pump. It's been an issue on 250 Xevos and X8's and a warranty issue on a Piaggio but who knows on a Pug, but worth investigating.

Thanks Dave, it is injected. It is basically the same as a Beverley, all the important bits are Piaggio.
I was wondering about the fuel pump, but it runs perfect off tickover, no misfire and it seems mostly
OK when hot. Just a bit puzzled by it and because its a Pug I can't get much feedback from anywhere
that speaks English.
