X8 plate & Box

Could anyone with the X8 400, advise me please?. I'm lookin to fit me a top box, but would like to fit one with the 'tilt up` plate to gain access to the 'boot`. Givi have told me their plates don't tilt and that it has to be Piaggio's own. Is this the case and if so, can you fit any size box to it?. Do they have the quick release facility to snap the box on and get it off quickly?. I will of course be talking to my dealer, but just wanted an un-biased view of them first.
