Just for info - I've acquired workshop and owners manuals from ebay. I'm just waiting for JimC to tell me if I can upload them to his ftp site.
Regards Roadster

Jim rarely visits these days although he still keeps his server going. I have (or had, if it still works) FTP privileges so if you don't get a reply I may be able to upload them for you. I'll check if my settings are still valid tonight......no they don't work!
Yes they do!! Now got new settings that work. Ta Jim.

There is now an X10 area on Jim's server. http://www.wotmeworry.org.uk/manualsWe really need a wiring diagram to complete the set. If anyone has the 500 manuals I suggest you let Dave know. Regards Roadster

Yes I have both the 350 and 500 manuals bought off ebay. Your copy of the 500 is like mine a mixture of Italian and English. I got a refund on the disc but they let me keep it. You can follow the pics which give you a 90% clue of what you need to do. Other than that I need to learn Italian

Thanks CT but there is something not quite right about the wiring diagram files. If you save them as PDF they are not readable. How did you upload them? Did you remember to use binary or image mode?
By the way any chance of the 350 ones as well?
regards Roadster

You might find they are readable now that you've made more than one post, I've had a look at them and are working for me. Please put some additional information in your signature, as it helps members with information, bike details/where you live.

On my system the files in the 500 folder with no .pdf extension on the page show as corrupted. The others work correctly.

The individual breakdown diagrams are OK and I also suspect the file size without such compression would be beyond that of the limit imposed on emailing them to be uploaded or maybe even the FTP limit if there is one. They are bigger manuals than most other bikes as they are dealer issue and have a lot of photos and information regarding new bike PDI and battery set up etc. As they are a freebie donated for everyone's benefit you have to live with it or go and buy a copy.

Almost every user or workshop manual I've ever needed (cameras, scuba gear, domestic stuff, bikes etc) I've found on the 'net for free (usually legit too) but there's always someone trying to sell a cd copy on ebay.
A chap in Oz once did a whole video series demonstrating how to strip and rebuild a guzzi v-twin engine and put it on an enthusiasts website so we could all benefit. Damned if it wasn't up on ebay within a few days. The seller didn't half catch some stick.
While I'm here, Thanks to the member who did put the X10 manuals up. Much appreciated.
