No. If it was it wouldn't be much of an immobiliser. Even if you bought a new ECU it would not work without introducing a master key and transducer chip.

For the 125, but not much use for an Xevo 400!

That's only for the carburettor 125-200cc models. Also it's generic so will probably be less than optimum on anything it's used on.
Being Malossi it will also probably wear out rather quickly too.

Hi guys.Question  about the x9 evo immobiliser,is the immobilizer activated when you pull out the ingnition key,do you have to have the key in a certain position .asking because tonight I took out the key and the red light did not flash and then it would not start, after keeping trying and nearly flattening the battery it kicked into life when I withdrew the key the red light started to flash what did I do wrong.

Coincidentally I was just reading about this for the X10, if no flashes at all when turned 'off' it's probably a power supply problem, check connector plug pins and wiring for the ECU. (?)

Also on the X9 there is a fuse for the ECU and another for the immobiliser tucked out of sight under the LH tail light. These can get corroded and if not passing a full current could cause the problem you described. The main plug into the ECU is substantial, clip fit and out of harms way and I'd be wary of touching it unless the battery was disconnected first.

hi, dave regarding your reply in this topic,my LH tail light blew when having my starting issue, started the scooter up five days ago(first push of button)yesterday morning sat 6/2/16,started first push of button after sitting in quite cold weather for four days, let it run until up to temp.changed the bulb, the scooter started after a few seconds stopped and now will not start.where is this fuse located near this Lh taillight.as this maybe my problem.
