hi guys the battery in my xevo is 12volt 9ah but my hand book says it should be 12volt 12 ah. i knew there was a smaller battery in the bike before i bought it as the guy told me this but went on to say the shop where he got it says it will be fine . just wanted to ask you guys what you think.also the icon of the spanner is flashing on my clocks i know this means to service the bike thats what  i am doing just at the minute but can some one please tell me how to  reset this flashing spanner icon. i had the x9125 before this and was able to reset the flashing word service on the x9 by the button at front. is the xevo the same idea or where is the reset button thanks guys for your replies

Questions about the XEvo would be better answered in the X7, X8, XEvo section but there is a workshop manual in the Help section.
I can't imagine you'll have any problems with the smaller capacity battery, there's nothing nothing on the 125 to warrant a big battery.
The manual for the 400 also recommends the 12ah battery and that probably has a higher current demand on startup.
It's probably the difference 15 cold starts without a charge cycle and 20 starts on the 125.

I have moved and merged your original post (which was in the wrong place) with your new post.

Edit
Checking your two posts, they appear to be the same, so to avoid repetition, and to make things tidy, I've deleted the repeated post.  OK?
