Hi guys. I need to take of the leg shield of my Xevo to replace the 12 volt socket with a waterproof 1. Do I need to take anything else  and what is the easiest way to remove it. I've check the web but can't seem to find any info on it.

Sorry, don't know much at all about Xevo and X8's. I know on the X9 that the legshield/glovebox is one of the last panels you can remove due to the fuse box and water bottle being fastened to it. You can't move it rearwards until these are removed and you can't remove them without taking all the main fairing off for access.

Thanks for the info Dave. I just had a closer look at it and it looks like the mirrors and few more bits have to come off first
