As a member on Maxi-muppets and I have both noted that the Piaggio manual is rubbish and lists the incorrect replacement bulbs or doesn't give enough information, I thought I'd start a list with the correct set. This is based on an XEvo 400 model but I am assuming that all the X8 and XEvo models will use the same bulb set (feel free to correct if you know differently). Some I do not know yet so feel free to update when the information is known. Please just post information that is known to be correct not just quoted from the Piaggio manual which is inaccurate.

Headlight bulbs:
Main: H7
Dipped: H7

Sidelights: W5W
Front Indicators W5YW ( or just Amber/Yellow coloured W5W)

Rear Indicators: W5W (x 2 each side) ( CLICKY for recommended LED replacement - brighter and more orange than standard, ballast resistor IS necessary to avoid fast blinking)

Rear Tail light: W3W (x2)
Rear Brake light R10W (x2)

Interior "boot" light: ???

Apparently the front indicator bulbs on an X8 (and probably XEvo)are W5YW. I've had a look for these but cant find a reference to them in the UK, though I can find some US sites listing them. Does anyone know if they're the same as W5W??

You may find those have the offset bayonet pins.  An ordinary 180 degree bayonet fitting one can be used by cutting off one pin.

You cannot link to an external site and expect it to remain unchanged for years. The actual bulb types are all listed in the original post above so it shouldn't be difficult to find them.
