I used the bit I cut off the large GIVI screen (not yet fitted) to try to make a laminar lip for my XEvo. I stuck it to the screen using the same blobs/strips as the LIP company use themselves. It wasn't easy to get them to stick due to the curvature of both the screen and the "lip" but they seem pretty rock solid.

Took it for a test ride and it definitely feels like an improvement. Less buffetting for sure, still noisy at very high speeds but more of a continuous roar than the turbulence I got before and it's quieter at normal speeds now.

Nice! How much space did you leave between lip and the screen?

Yep, pretty pleased, but it'll only be a relative freebie if I ever get round to using the rest of the GIVI screen - until then it's a very expensive way of doing it!

Only as much as the fixing method would allow, it was pretty much a case of putting the tape on and seeing how it'd fit. In the end there's about 1cm gap at the bottom and perhaps 0.5cm gap at the top between the lip and screen.

Got the grommets today so I've fitted them to the givi, so it might not end up being an expensive plastic donor after all!!
