A word of caution to all. I tried to add to the top of my screen a 4" deflector and drilled the screen an inch down from the top to insert two small attachment bolts. This was fine until I lightly tensioned the bolts, when splits appeared across the edge.
I have done this before on Burger screens so know the risks. BEWARE the material from Piaggio is different or requires ageing. My scoot is faily new.Ie less than 6 months old.  Any other member tried this ?

Not exactly, but I did buy the tall screen for the X8/Xevo and cut that down to fit, just used a hacksaw and masking tape and no great dramas.

In fact I subsequently got another brand new screen from Piaggio, which I still have and is unused, as the bikes now for sale I planned to sell off the screen seperately, so if you're interested drop me a PM.

Oh dear, I was just about to try this!!
What sort of deflector are you using?

I have an aerotrim - and was going to have a go at putting it on this weekend.

I would say drilling only an inch from the top of the screen is a bit risky, maybe heating the screen up with a hairdryer first for a few minutes might help prevent cracks?
