The Hog went in for its first MOT,dont know what sort of arrangement the lads at http://www.fullboremotorcycles.co.uk/ have with the local motorcycle mot station, but i did'nt even have to take the standard pipes in.

I also had a mini service, filters, oil etc, needed a set of rear pads on the bike,i seem to get through them fairly rapid......not quiet as rapid as JJ gets through bearings though.
Its only a small set up,but since 3 rivers HD has gone from around here, they have picked up some good work and are now Harley approved, but because they dont want to sell NEW harleys, they did'nt have to lay out loads of cash and tart the shop up like a dealer would have to.

Looking at their fixed price servicing rates, it seems like a good find Steve.

Yes John.....Very reasonable prices..Roger is the owner and works in the shop, but does get enjoyment out of life when on the tools side of things. He has 2 full time mechanics Chris and Jumbo(john) I worked with Jumbo for 20 years on the post,he used to tinker with bikes in the afternoon after work, then roger set up shop and Jumbo went part time there, then he had a chance of a redundancy Package and Roger was willing to take him on full time. Its a small two bike workshop with a storage area inbetween the shop and workshop, thats where they get the big choppers ready and when is time for assembly all three blitz it in the main work area.

Johns a typical old biker and has 3 older Harleys,he dont like bling,so most of his machines are a bog standard black with no frills and mostly built from scrappers and stuff he has brought at auto jumbles.

Roger always makes sure Jumbo does my bike, its a bit like leaving a bike at JTs workshop or Duncans workshop,i know I'll have no worries at all,in fact i no for a fact Jumbo has done extra's for me.

I'm getting a bit concerned for your welfare, Rocket - you being such a young, sensitive lad !!
