Having some problems with my heated grips. The left 1 works ok but the right 1 doesn't seem to be working. I've had a look to see if there was a loose wire but I can't see anything wrong. Has anyone got any ideas what the problem could be. The grip are daytona grips. Title: Re: Heated grips help Post by: julian on October 24, 2010, 21:30:41 Right grips usually fail due to the wire constantly being in motion due to throttle movement and eventually breaking contact internally due to metal fatigue.

Took it back to palmers to get it looked at and it started working again half way there. They replaced the grip and they're OK now, could be a break in the element somewhere.
Mine are the oxford digital ones like Pauls. |
